Does Philadelphia, of all places, need another spot with a strong focus on Belgian beer?
Well, it’s getting one. The Beeryard reports Zot has opened at 122 Lombard St.
Among the first beers it stocked was Brugse Zot.
New Belgium Brewing brewmaster Peter Bouckaert will be the keynote speaker at the 2007 American Homebrewers Association National Homebrewers Conference June 21-23 in Denver.
Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River has also signed on as a speaker, so the conference obviously will have a little something for those interested in brewing Belgian-inspired beers.
