The Saveur 100 [list isn't online] is out, where the chic magazine offers an electic collection of choices such as Tastiest Little Bookshop and Best Things Since Sliced Bread, and among the honored is Maine’s Allagash Brewing Co.

Granted, the Hoegaarden brewery has little in the way of a monk connection (although Pierre Celis did once produce a contract beer for Achel). And the “white” beer style isn’t covered in “Brew Like a Monk.”
